2022 New Journey | Launch of Hochuen Medical New Production Bases at Domestic and Abroad (Dongguan + Malaysia)

Company Introduction

Hochuen Medical is one of the largest CDMO manufacturers for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD), medical disposables & devices, and wearable medical products. We provide "one-stop" services for IVD customers from the initial R&D and prototyping phases to low and high volume CDMO manufacturing on microfluidic chips and biomedical consumables. We have many capabilities including microfluidic device fabrication, high-precision injection molding, high-precision die cutting and lamination, laser cutting, laser welding, ultrasonic bonding, in-house mold machining, LSR, wet reagent storage in blister packs, dry reagent handling, as well as device assembly and packaging, making the industrialization of microfluidic technology possible.

Since 2016, Hochuen Medical has experienced rapid growth with a CAGR of 61%, serving customers (Fortune 500, industry leaders and public companies) in North/Latin America, Australia, Europe, Asia and  China In 2021, we raised a Series A of tens of millions RMB from Qiming Venture Partners，which we will invest in the development of our manufacturing technology and our global market expansion.

Hochuen Medical’s headquarters and R&D center currently reside in Shenzhen with two overseas sales offices in Los Angeles, CA and Singapore. We are proud to announce that we are opening two new production plants in Dongguan, China and Johor, Malaysia which will significantly increase our production capacity to meet increased demand from our customers.

Hochuen Medical - Dongguan Production Base in China

At the beginning of 2022, we finished the final construction of a 620,000 square feet production base in Dongguan. This facility will be primarily used for microfluidic mold manufacturing, precision injection molding and biochip assembly. It will be equipped with industry-leading CNC machines, milling machines EDM (Electric Discharge Machining) machines, and almost one hundred injection molding machines (including LSR and two-shot) of different tonnages.

We have also finished construction of another 62,000 square feet production base in Malaysia to support our global expansion. This new manufacturing facility is located near Singapore City, the center of Southeast Asia, strengthening our international influence and creating a new point of growth for Hochuen Medical.

By the end of this year, Hochuen Medical will have its global group system fully operated. It will have a total of 100,000 square meters of research and development and production space (including Class 7 to 8 clean room and GMP workshops). We have the full process and technology ready for IVD consumables, we are also helping our client in the cutting-edge technologies such as Lab on a Chip, Organ on a Chip and NGS chips. Microfluidic chips have gained a lot of attention and been used widely during the COVID pandemic. Hochuen medical keeps focusing on microfluidics technology, and we put our customer in the First Place, we spare no efforts in helping our clients’ success and we deliver the best service to our customer.
